Growing Roses
So, this post is going to be mostly pictures. I had the pleasure of quilting for a new customer who made this gorgeous Granny Square quilt from a bright pink and a collection of fat quarters, and I love the back almost as much as the front.
The blocks are 20”! She wanted an all-over pattern so we talked about different styles of cabbage roses, and this is the one we landed on. It’s simple but makes for great texture. And I got to try out my new spotlight lamp that I got from Ikea.
(Granny Square quilt has been added to my list of quilts I will make "someday." I'm thinking bright solids with slate gray or navy as the background.)
